The KPL library will connect your student to new ideas, new skills, and new friends! Gather and socialize with other local homeschooling families every month while trying different STEAM activities for free. Other school-age clubs include: 3D Print & Design, Magic, Anime, Reading, Kids Chess, Pokemon and Fantasy Fandom. High school juniors & seniors may also enjoy some of the adult programs.

Enrich your science curriculum with environmental education by joining the Pringle Nature Center for our seasonal Homeschool Science series! Pringle Nature Center is a great place for children of all ages to study nature up-close in the forest, pond, and prairie ecosystems of the 197-acre Bristol Woods County Park. Homeschool Science is a hands-on, nature-based outdoor program.

Explore the amazing world of art through the eyes of artists and see how their artwork can inspire your own. Try new techniques and get your creativity flowing. All materials included. This program is intended for ages 5-10. There is no cost to participate, but registration is strongly encouraged to ensure enough supplies for all participants.

A special treat for accomplishing a learning goal? Health class? Boundless Adventures offers 9 high ropes and obstacle courses that will challenge student’s boundaries as they swing, climb, balance, traverse and zipline through this treetop adventure. Within this 200-acre park, there are more than 4 miles of hiking trails in addition to the Pringle Nature Center. Prices start around $45/person.

The Pritzker Military Museum offers unique exhibits related to political conflicts throughout US History. The current exhibit, Remembered Light, is a 25-piece stained-glass collection that were created from glass shards retrieved from bombed-out European cathedrals, synagogues, and chapels during World War II. Students under 15 receive free admission. General admission is $5/person.
